XNETIX was created as web(((RESONANCE))) in December 1999 as the e-business division of PrimeNet, Inc.- a communications company of IES, the $1.8-billion electrical communications corporation (NYSE:IEE). In January 2002, web(((RESONANCE))) spun off from PrimeNet, Inc. and does business under the newly formed corporation XNETIX, LLC.
